Incorporation Update

As you’ve hopefully seen, we’ve made some big strides since our last roadmap update! These little milestones take a whole lot of boring paperwork, but it’s exciting to see it add up to a real organization to support our Idaho AEC marketing and BD professionals.

  1. SMPS Idaho is online! Check out our website at smpsidaho.org. If you have any suggestions for how we can improve the site, email [email protected].
  2. We are officially incorporated under the State of Idaho. This means we are cleared to operate and engage in business throughout the state.
  3. Billhighway is actively managing incoming or outgoing funds. We will start emphasizing membership and sponsorship in the coming months to build up some financial resources.

So, what’s left? We still need to finalize our chapter bylaws and create a budget for our first year. We’ll dig into these items as part of our Strategic Planning Workshop with Jen Newman, a consultant from Elevate Marketing Advisors who has decades of experience with SMPS nationwide.
