Roadmap to SMPS Idaho

As it turns out, there are a lot of steps required to become an incorporated chapter! We’ve made a lot of progress in the last few months and wanted to share where SMPS Idaho stands.

Antonio Payne, CPA from SMPS HQ is currently working on our filing with the Idaho Secretary of State. We included five incorporators from our Organizing Committee and can’t wait to be official!

Our website is also in the works. We met with a StarChapter representative and gave her our content for each page of the site. She is currently putting together the layout for smpsidaho.org with a goal launch date of July 7, 2021.

The other big piece we’re working on is our payment processing system. We are using Billhighway as recommended by SMPS HQ. Our account is currently in the onboarding phase and should be able to start receiving dues and sponsorships in one week.
